Mary Boateng-Coleman
Co-founder and Executive Director
A consummate entrepreneur, Mary is the Founder and current President of Elite Healthcare Services LLC, a Healthcare provider with multiple facilities that provides care for patients with various intellectual and physical challenges.
Prior to founding Elite Healthcare Services, Mary worked at GE Capital in Bethesda, Maryland. As a Senior Risk Manager within the Strategic Business Development team, she was responsible for a wide range of initiatives, both client-facing, and internally vital. Specifically, she was responsible for assessing and managing key corporate clients, analyzing and communicating credit and market risks, developing policies & controls, as well as providing research& analytical support within the Real Estate & Healthcare Industry.
With a career spanning over 20 years, Mary has diligently built a reputation as an Innovative Business Leader. One focused on making a meaningful impact in the world by solving thorny problems. A natural change agent, she is looking to bring all her experience and energy to tackling problems in the Financial Inclusion space using digital tools such as Micro Investment Platforms and digital experience solutions.
Mary spent her early childhood in London, UK and Accra, Ghana before moving to the United States where she earned her bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of Maryland, College Park. She subsequently earned an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the Yale School of Management at Yale University.
Martin Atta-Fynn
Chief Executive Officer
Martin Atta-Fynn joined the Brassica Pay board as an Independent Non-Executive Director in August 2020, bringing a wealth of experience in developing and implementing ICT systems across Africa. Currently the Managing Director of Afri-Consult, a management-consulting firm in Accra, Ghana, Martin previously served as the consulting leader at Deloitte Ghana. With over 19 years at Deloitte Consulting, he has held leadership roles in providing direction for Information and Communications Technology, initially for the Ghana practice and later for the East African region. Martin has played a key role in developing ICT policies for both Ghana and Kenya, as well as supporting the implementation of e-government strategies and fostering ICT growth in the East African region.
In addition to his expertise in ICT and government strategy, Martin's experience spans business strategy, helping corporate enterprises work efficiently and generate profits. His project management skills have enabled him to successfully implement strategy, business improvement, and ICT projects across various organizations and industries. A dedicated educator, Martin has been responsible for developing training programs for Deloitte's Africa region and is an accredited Deloitte facilitator. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, is a member of the Project Management Institute, and is certified in the use of the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) assessment tool. Currently, Martin serves as a key advisor to Impacts Tactics, an ICT organization focused on implementing Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning to drive innovation and process improvements for businesses. He is also working with UNFPA to leverage technology in helping adolescents make informed choices regarding reproductive health.
Mr Michael Acolatse

Michael is an all-round Digital Finance & Financial Inclusion advocate with more than a decade’s experience in mobile payments across different industries .Prior to joining the Brassica Team, Michael held diverse portfolio across the spectrum of operational and strategic roles. He joins the team with vast experience in Telco services, Mobile Money, Micro Asset Financing, Microinsurance, and the operationalization of Tele-medicine.
Michael leads the Brassica Commercial Team with key oversight of the Sales, Operations, Customer and marketing categories. His vision is to build a team that embodies and delivers the core mandates of Profitability, Sustainability, and Growth.
Michael’s core strengths revolve around: Customer Acquisition (Field sales, Tele-sales and Digital channels), Channel Management (recruitment, training and Incentives), Pricing, Product Design & Deployment, Project Management and Analytics.
Ahead of joining Brassica Pay, Michael worked with Milvik Ghana Limited (BIMA),Ghana’s foremost micro insurance and telemedicine provider where he led the Direct-to-Consumer Division. In this role, Michael Delivered a 4x profitability in 2 years, expanded to 9 locations nationwide and deployed award-winning micro-insurance products. Michael also managed a 4-million-euro partnership with GIZ to drive insurance awareness.
In other roles, Michael has helped companies like PEG Africa, a PAY-GO Solar company, better their repayment ratios by deploying IVR and USSD payment solutions that cater to people with little or no formal education. Michael also worked with the IFC- World Bank on a USD2 million project to drive Mobile Money penetration in Ghana in his days at Tigo.
Michael is a product of the University of Ghana and holds a bachelor's degree in the social sciences. He also has a Project Management certification with the Globe Management Institute and Mobile Money Product Development certificate from the Helix Institute in Nairobi.
Isafun Senam Amematekpor
Compliance and Risk Manager
Isafun Senam Amematekpor is a Risk Management Specialist with expertise in anti-money laundering, financial crime investigations, data protection, privacy, and market conduct. Prior to working as a Compliance and Risk Manager of Brassica Capital, she worked with Black Star Advisors as a Compliance Officer and at the University of Ghana Business School as a Graduate and Research Assistant in the Finance Department. She is a researcher by training with research interests in financial sector development ranging from investor behavior to applying technology in the financial services sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration (Banking and Finance) and a Master of Philosophy in Finance from the University of Ghana.
Eric Ollennu
Senior Fintech Solutions Delivery Manager
Eric Ollennu is a seasoned Software Engineer with a proven track record in the Information Technology and services sector. He possesses expertise in Software Architecture Design and Development, Database Design and Administration, System Monitoring and Evaluation, as well as Report Design and Ad Hoc Reporting. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Ghana, showcasing his strong academic background.
Throughout his career, Eric has garnered extensive experience across diverse industries, including Finance (Banking) and Telecommunication. He has held various roles and responsibilities, such as Solution Architect/Application Developer, Database Administrator/Application Developer & Support, and Telecom Product Development, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability in different professional settings.
In addition to his academic qualifications, Eric Ollennu has further enhanced his skill set by obtaining a certificate in Data Science and Analytics for Strategic Decisions from the National Banking College in Accra. He is characterized as an articulate and highly motivated individual, dedicated to achieving excellence in his field.

Kwaku is an accomplished finance expert with over 12 years of experience in financial services, real estate ,insurance, supply chain as well as petroleum. He’s worked in companies such as EziSavings & Loans, KPMG, Petra-Achieve More, Haning Suniel Global Supply, Aliska Business Advisory & Research and Metropolitan Ghana including exploits with Leapfrog Investments and African Capital Alliance. Kwaku’s career trajectory includes V-level and C-suite roles in both startups and established organizations, where he played pivotal roles in driving corporate strategy and operational excellence by leveraging information technology. Asa Chartered Accountant and an alumnus of the University of Ghana Business School, he has a strong foundation in corporate finance, accounting, taxation, audit and risk management. Under his leadership, he successfully navigated complex financial transactions, raised significant rounds of funding and optimized operational efficiency to support innovation and scalability of several businesses. Recognized for his hands-on approach to financial management, he ensures that every financial decision aligns with the company's long-term vision and impending objectives. She is a full Member –Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners(CIHRMP).
She is a results-driven professional with over ten years of experience, and expertise in Human Resource management, restructuring and creating and implementing programs to improve business operations. She is adept at building recruiting, selection, retention business strategies and is able to provide recommendations for improvement, training, selection, coaching and counseling for various level of management and executives. She comes on board with experience in ISO 9001and COHSASA Quality Certifications.
